Dr. Paul Amble and Dr. Nancy Cashman provide a full range of preventative services to keep your teeth and gums healthy as well as restorative options to return your mouth to natural function and appearance.
In addition, many patients seek to build and keep self-esteem and confidence through aesthetic evaluation and treatments, as well as in-office or take home whitening products.
Our In-Office Whitening Process:
- 2-3 hour in-office appointment
- Whitening is initiated with 40% whitening solution.
- Teeth are effectively whitened at the end of the appointment.
- Patient receives custom trays and 15% whitening solution for touch ups (2-day process). Solution must be refrigerated to retain efficacy.
Our Take Home Whitening Process:
- At home whitening is a 3 week process. Patients receive custom trays and 15% prescription strength whitening solution.
- In the first week patients will use the trays 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour at night.
- In the second and third week patients will use the trays for 2 hours in the morning and 2 hours at night.
Generally, patients return for whitening checks after the 1st and 3rd weeks. The trays and solution can be kept and used for touch-ups. Leftover solution must be refrigerated to maintain efficacy. Additional solution for touch-ups can be purchased as well.
Aesthetic treatments (whitening, veneers, etc.) are very popular for patients getting engaged, married, celebrating special anniversaries and various types of reunions. While most insurance programs do not cover aesthetic work, Grand Avenue Dental has a dental discount program that can be purchased by patients that do not have an insurance program, but would still like to get some savings on a significant treatment plan.
